ChoseN is a book stand consisting of two parts of crafted terrazzo brought together by a bent metallic brass support. The support shelters bedside books between the two heavy volumes of terrazzo or it can work just as well as an object that can bring into the spotlight the recommended books section in a library.

The simple geometry of the object, shaped as an arch or as a stairway, is anchored in the 50's tendencies of Italian design and architecture, which also automatically led to the selection of materials from the traditional Italian palette: terrazzo and golden bronze.

The use of terrazzo is not only a current aesthetic trend, but also a conscious way to re-use debris. More than ever, now is the time to use terrazzo, not just as a finishing material for floors, but also in the design of small objects.
